Plug-in hybrids as a share of car sales in European countries 2019

Norway was the country with the highest share of passenger cars fitted with hybrid engines sold in Europe. The country has been a leader in Europe for adopting electric vehicles by investing in charging infrastructure. Sweden and Finland completed the top three countries for plug-in hybrid sales in Europe.
