Licensed heavy goods vehicles in the United Kingdom in 2021 by age
The United Kingdom had some 529,400 total licensed heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) in its fleet in 2021. Most of registered vehicles were between six and 13 years old, followed by vehicles over 13 years of age at over 95,000 units. HGVs between one and two year of age were in the smallest category, representing just under 36,500 total units.
