The Super Bowl is the culmination of the National Football League's season ever year, but it is so much more than just a football game. The whole event has become a highlight of the TV calendar, with some of the world's biggest performers taking to the stage each year for the famous halftime show. The honor of performing during Super Bowl LV in 2021 was bestowed upon Canadian star The Weeknd. According to a survey in the United States carried out on the day after the Super Bowl in 2021, the performer's set went down especially well with Gen Z viewers - 43 percent of respondents from this age group stated that they enjoyed The Weeknd's performance very much.
