According to a recent survey conducted in Italy, people are positive towards electronic voting. As of 2020, 57 percent of people declared to be in favor of online voting. However, 27 percent of them supported this modality only for consultations among the members of a party, while only 30 percent of respondents stated to be in favor of electronic voting for all kinds of elections, e.g. political and administrative elections as well as in a referendum.
