Distribution of GDP in Egypt 2021-2022, by sector
For the year 2021/2022, manufacturing industries were contributing the most to Egyptian GDP, with up to 15.3 percent of the GDP being generated in this sector. Moreover, wholesale and retail trade, and agriculture, forestry, and fishery followed with a share of GDP of 13.09 percent and 10.8 percent, respectively. On the other hand, the water and information sector had the least share in the country's GDP.
