According to a survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2023, 72 percent of respondents from both genders in the Philippines who have not purchased an item or product endorsed by an influencer stated that there was nothing that they needed from the products endorsed. The same survey found that more than half of Filipino respondents followed at least one influencer on social media.
