Import value of nuclear reactors in China 2020-2023, by country

China imported around 335 million U.S. dollars worth of nuclear reactors as of November 2024. Approximately a third of them were from France, although the import value of nuclear reactors from this country decreased from 308 million U.S. dollars in 2020. In 2022, the United States (U.S.) was the third leading exporter of nuclear reactors to China, preceeded by Russia. In 2021, China ranked second for primary energy consumption from nuclear energy worldwide, after the U.S.
