Capital increases in publicly traded Spanish biotech companies 2016-2020

In 2020, publicly traded Spanish biotech companies received capital increases amounting to approximately 70.37 million euros, up from around 52.14 million euros recorded a year prior. This type of funding to biotech companies through stock market operations has more than tripled since 2016, when capital increases reached about 20.5 million euros in the European country. That same year, Atrys health, a multinational health care company, concentrated the highest capital increase among other publicly traded Spanish biotech companies.
