In 2020, anemia affected about 6.1 percent of the children and teens in China. Anemia is a condition which makes people feel tired and week because there are not enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to the body's tissues. Iron deficiency anemia is the most common type of anemia in toddlers, adolescent girls, and females of childbearing age.
