According to a survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2023, around 55 percent of Thai respondents stated that they had not purchased an item or product endorsed by an influencer because there was nothing they were endorsing. The same survey showed that the majority of the respondents in the country followed at least one influencer on social media.
