In the second fiscal quarter of 2024, Sony Corporation sold approximately 77.7 million games for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, up from 53.6 million unit sales in the preceding quarter. The company's strong performance with full game software unit sales during the end of 2023 is related to the holiday quarter and the release of several major titles such as the annual Call of Duty, in addition to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Assassin's Creed Mirage, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, as well as DLC content for Final Fantasy 16 and God of War: Ragnarök.
