According to a survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2023, around 83 percent of 25 to 34-year-old Thai respondents stated that they have purchased an item or product because it was endorsed by the influencer. Comparatively, around 30 percent of respondents aged 55 years old and older in the country stated that they have never purchased any product because it was promoted by the social media influencer.
