In 2023, the value added by the agricultural sector to Ghana's nominal gross domestic product (GDP) increased to approximately 177.6 billion Ghanaian cedis (GHS) (around 11.7 billion U.S. dollars). This showed a significant increase compared to the value registered in 2013.
