China's National Petroleum and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group is the largest gas pipeline developer in the world. As of 2023, the company was expecting to add over 25,000 kilometers to its existing pipeline network in the coming years. This was followed by Russia's natural gas-producing giant Gazprom, which had nearly 3,000 kilometers worth of pipelines under construction.
