Oil pipeline developers by length of proposed pipelines 2020

Iran's Ministry of Petroleum is the largest developer of oil pipelines in the world. As of 2020, projects supported by the ministry had a total length of 2,961 kilometers. Of the seven leading developers, five were state-owned enterprises or government institutions. Canada-based TC Energy, which owns the Keystone pipeline network and is overseeing the Keystone XL addition, currently has a 1,897 kilometer-long pipeline network in construction and ranks seventh.
