During a survey fielded in Brazil in February 2021, about 51 percent of responding internet users did not know Clubhouse – an audio-based social networking app. While one out of five (20 percent of) respondents stated that they knew what it is, 29 percent said they had heard about it but did not know much about it. Clubhouse allows users to jump in and out of chats, as well as to just listen to other users talking. The conversations are not saved and cannot leave the app.
