Reasons for using online travel agencies for purchasing tickets in Hong Kong 2023

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online travel agencies in Hong Kong conducted in June 2023, 70 percent of the respondents who purchased tickets or services using online travel agencies (OTAs) stated that they used an OTA because of the convenience. Other than convenience, majority of the respondents from Hong Kong also used OTAs for the discounts and special offers.
