According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online travel agencies in the Philippines conducted in June 2023, 81 percent of the respondents who purchased tickets or services using online travel agencies (OTAs) stated that they used an OTA because of the convenience. Other than convenience, Filipino respondents used OTAs for special offers.
