According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in the Philippines in June 2023, 61 percent of surveyed Filipinos booked travel services such as sightseeing tours, admission tickets, tour guides, restaurant bookings and more on online travel agencies (OTAs) several months before their trip. In comparison, six percent said they booked travel services through OTAs immediately before needing them.
