Biggest companies in geosynthetics worldwide based on revenue 2015-2020

While several firms worldwide earned their revenue from manufacturing polymers in geotechnical engineering, there is are no dominant, publicly listed companies in this sector. From the available information it appears the industry is comprised of many smaller companies, most of which are to be found in Europe. However, there is little financial data publicly available for companies active in the geosynthetics industry. Figures are incomplete, as none of these companies are publicly listed and, consequently, do not have to share their financial performance openly. Local company registers also did not have these figures, as they were inaccessible for, for example, in the Netherlands.

Geosynthethics are made from polymers and serve as a terraforming component with certain construction projects. For instance, geosynthetics can be applied in railroad construction to stabilize embankments or control slope erosion. Other applications include: drainage systems found in sports fields, agriculture, or aquaculture, as well as the water proofing dams and tunnels.
