Distribution of export value in Italy 2019, by destination area

The main destination of Italian exports is by far the European Union. In 2019, about 56 percent of all export value was traded with the European Union. With 11 percent, other European countries not belonging to the EU represented the second largest destination area of exports from Italy. Overall, Germany and France are Italy's main export trading partners.
