In 2023, a total of 5 shopping centers will be opened in Brazil, aggregating 99.6 thousand square meters of gross leasable area (GLA). Terrazo Shopping, in the state of Ceará, will be the largest one, with over 30 thousand square meters of gross leasable area. This shopping mall opened doors in July, 2023.
As of 2020, there were 601 shopping malls in this South American country.
