According to a survey conducted in December 2020, over 33 percent of respondents in Japan aged 17 to 19 years stated that they had to widen the scope of their job search due to the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country. In the same survey, close to 32 percent of all respondents reported an impact of COVID-19 on their future paths.
