Barriers to establishing entrepreneurial activities in Tunisia 2020
As of December 2020, during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, most of the unemployed people aged 18-35 years in Tunisia did not establish their entrepreneurial activity because of the lack of funding. This barrier concerned 24 percent of the total respondents. The second leading barriers to entering entrepreneurship were the current situation and the lack of information about the startup-creation process. Each of these reasons was stated by 15 percent of the young unemployed Tunisians.
