According to a survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2023, approximately 56 percent of respondents stated that their reason for not buying an item endorsed by an influencer was because they did not have the needs for such an item. Meanwhile, 11 percent of them did not trust the influencer, hence deciding not to purchase the product.
