Sense of digital exclusion felt by French seniors 2018

With a rising penetration of accessing the Internet through different types of modes in France, across all age groups, some groups still feel a sense of exclusion when it comes to technology. This graph illustrates the proportion of older people who feel excluded due to their ignorance of digital tools such as the Internet and social networks in France in 2018.
Thus, more than two thirds of French seniors had never felt such an exclusion. While around a quarter of respondents had already felt excluded due to their ignorance of digital tools, including three percent who said they had such a feeling very often.
