Dominican Republic: volume of online card transactions 2018-2020, by destination

Between 2018 and 2020, the volume of domestic, as well as cross-border, online card transactions made in the Dominican Republic increased. As of December 2020, there were approximately 44.7 million online card transactions made in the Latin American country that year, of which around 33.35 million transactions were cross-border. The total value of domestic and cross-border online card transactions made in 2020 reached around 89.9 billion Dominican pesos.
