Change in online purchase orders in Peru during COVID-19 2020

Realizing that the restrictions put in place in mid-March to contain the coronavirus could be long-lasting, Peruvian buyers increasingly turned to online shopping, with orders reaching a peak in July. Although from July onwards the quarantine in the Andean country went from national to localized, e-commerce sales remained high compared to the first month of the year. According to projections, Peru registered the most significant growth in online sales in Latin America in 2020.
