Global private spending on technology for remote work 2020, by country

On average, employees from Germany spend the largest amount of money (381 U.S. dollars) on technologies to work remotely as compared to the United States, Italy, and Great Britain. Globally, 70 percent of respondents state to have purchased new technology due to new work requirements during COVID-19. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, many employees were forced to adopt a remote working lifestyle and rely on technology to enable this working condition. Among technologies obtained for remote work are headsets, laptops, monitors, and cameras.
