Factors discouraging leisure travel during COVID-19 pandemic Malaysia 2020

As of October 2020, 43.5 percent of Malaysian respondents strongly agreed that concerns on hygiene and safety were discouraging them to go on leisure travels. Malaysia imposed the Movement Control Order (MCO) to slow down the spread of the COVID-19 infection. The MCO was lifted in June 2020 and the country entered the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), which has allowed Malaysians to travel interstate since then.
