As the COVID-19 pandemic caused a sudden shift to remote work, employees had to handle IT issues by themselves, which employees from India feel most confident about as 95 percent of respondents state that they can independently set up their own technology and troubleshoot it from home. Worldwide, 79 percent of employees state that they have become more able to handle technology-related issues by themselves since working from home. Employees' abilities to handle information technology problems is an important skill when working remotely, as they can fix issues independently and return to work more quickly.
