Remote work organization difficulties in companies in Russia 2020

High workload of the IT personnel was named as the main challenge Russian companies faced while organizing the remote work infrastructure during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, according to 52 percent of survey participants in 2020. The lack of laptops was another major obstacle, as per 35 percent of respondents.

Survey respondents were senior and middle-level IT managers of enterprises representing companies in the main sectors of the economy: the real sector (metallurgy, mechanical engineering, fuel and energy sector, agriculture) - 45%, Trading companies - 20%, Financial sector enterprises - 15%, transport and logistics companies - 9%, energy companies -4%, other sectors - 7%. Top-level management positions/general directors represented 55% of respondents.
