Finland: COVID-19 vaccinations by region 2022

As of December 6, 2022, over 4.5 million first doses of coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine have been administered in Finland. The highest number of administered vaccine doses were recorded in the capital region of Helsinki and Uusimaa, followed by other populous regions, Pirkanmaa and Varsinais-Suomi. The coronavirus vaccination rollout started on December 27, 2020 with the BioNTech–Pfizer vaccine.

Coronavirus vaccination is offered to everyone aged five or older who is willing to take the vaccine. According to the vaccination order in Finland, COVID-19 vaccinations are first offered to social and healthcare personnel with a higher risk of exposure, risk groups, and those aged 70 years or older.
