In 2019, nearly all manufacturing companies in China wanted to implement advanced robotics in their operations within the following three years. German companies showed similar enthusiasm when

percent of them expressed the same intent. In Japan, however, only

percent of manufacturing companies were planning to use advanced robots between 2019 and 2021, even though the Japanese industry has one of the highest robot density in the world.
