Finland: COVID-19 vaccinations by age group 2022

By December 6, 2022, Finland had administered over 4,5 million first doses and more than 4,3 million second doses of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine. The highest number of vaccine doses were recorded in the age group of 60 to 69 years. The coronavirus vaccination rollout started on December 27, 2020 with the BioNTech–Pfizer vaccine.

Coronavirus vaccination is offered to everyone aged five or older who is willing to take the vaccine. According to the vaccination order in Finland, COVID-19 vaccinations are first offered to social and healthcare personnel with a higher risk of exposure, risk groups, and those aged 70 years or older.
