According to a survey conducted in May 2020, nearly 60 percent of respondents in Russia stated that their time spent on Video chat apps increased compared to the time before the COVID-19 outbreak. Furthermore, 53 percent of surveyed audience reported an increase in social media usage during the self-isolation period.
