As of August 2021, 83 percent of Germans were definitely willing to get vaccinated against the coronavirus (COVID-19). In February 2021, 59 percent gave the same answer. Germany began its coronavirus vaccination rollout shortly after Christmas 2020 with the BioNTech vaccine.
