The French coastline has many tourist attractions that have contributed to its attractiveness over the years. The Normandy American Cemetary and Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer was the most visited attraction along France's coastlines in 2017. It attracted more than 1.33 million visitors. Marineland in Antibes was the second most visited attraction, with 1.3 million visits that year. The Dune du Pilat on the Atlantic coast had 371,500 visitors.
