Value of exports from Libya 2019, by country of destination

In 2019, China was Libya's leading export partner in terms of trade value. In that year, Libya exported over 6.6 billion Libyan dinars (around 1.48 billion U.S. dollars) to China. Italy was the second main destination of Libyan exports in terms of value, which exceeded 6.2 billion Libyan dinars (roughly 1.39 billion U.S. dollars). Overall, the majority of the country's leading export partners were European.
