Share of organic product retailer closures in France 2017-2020, by surface size

In spite of a certain interest of the French for the purchase and consumption of products from organic agriculture, some stores active in the retailing of this type of products have faced the need to close. However, when looking at the typology of these closures, it appears that they concern less small stores (less than or equal to 150 m²). On the other hand, the number of closures of stores larger than 300 m² has continued to increase for the last few years: they represented only nine percent of the closures in 2017, compared to more than 30 percent four years later.
