The largest share of bank card holders who experienced fraud in Russia as of December 2020 was recorded among those between 35 and 44 years old. Furthermore, 45 percent of respondents aged 65 years and older stated that they experienced bank card fraud.

The sample is based on official statistics from Rosstat (Federal State Statistics Service of Russia), and represents the population of the Russian Federation by gender, age, level of education and type of locality. The survey was conducted among population of 53 regions of Russia.
The statistical error of the data does not exceed 3.4 percent.
