According to a survey carried out in January 2020, 37 percent of young healthcare professionals reported that telehealth technology (either healthcare professional-to-patient or healthcare professional-to-healthcare professional) was necessary for them to feel confident when treating patients remotely. Digital health records were also important, with 36 percent of respondents saying they would be necessary for them to effectively treat a patient remotely.
