French organic product consumers mainly shopping in specialty stores 2019, by region
While supermarkets and hypermarkets were the first place of purchase for consumers of organic products in 2019, these consumers are also interested in other points of sale, such as stores specialized in organic product retailing. When looking at the regional breakdown of consumers of organic products mainly shopping in these specialty stores, it appears that the region in which this proportion was highest in 2019 was Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (29 percent). The Hauts-de-France region had the lowest.
