Children immunization rate in Libya 2019, by type of vaccine
In 2019, 74 percent of the children’s population in Libya received the bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccine, which provides immunization against tuberculosis (TB). In the same year, 73 percent of the children received the third dose of diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and pertussis (DTP3) vaccination, and the same share was vaccinated against measles. The latest data for polio vaccines were dated 2015 and reported an immunization coverage against poliomyelitis of 98 percent of the children.
