Children immunization rate in Tunisia 2019, by type of vaccine
In 2019, 95 percent of the children in Tunisia were immunized against measles. In the same year, 92 percent received the bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG), which provides immunization against tuberculosis (TB), and the same percentage of Tunisian children received the third dose of diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and pertussis (DTP3) vaccination. Furthermore, almost the entire children's population in Tunisia (98 percent) had received a vaccination against poliomyelitis in 2018.
