In 2023, Vietnam welcomed approximately 12.6 million international visitor arrivals, a significant increase compared to the year prior. The number of international arrivals to the country had been growing fast year-on-year since 2015 before witnessing a significant drop in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and its related travel restrictions.
