Nigeria led the exports of crude oil from Africa in 2023. The country exported nearly 1.5 million barrels of oil per day. Angola and Libya followed, with a daily export volume of roughly 1.1 million and one million barrels, respectively. Overall, the exports of crude oil from Africa amounted to approximately five million barrels per day in the same year.
