Reasons for addressing climate change among impact investors worldwide 2020
Addressing the climate crisis through impact investments is a common motivation among impact investors. The most common reason to do so, according to a global survey from 2020, was to address an urgent, significant global challenge which was stated by 83 percent of the impact investors surveyed. Another common reason was to mitigate risk against the physical risk caused by climate change, according to 68 percent of the investors.
