Share of AUM in impact investments worldwide 2019, by sector
The energy, financial services, and forestry sector were the largest sectors for impact investment in terms of assets under management in 2019. The energy sector accounted for 16 percent of assets under management of impact investors, the financial services sector for 12 percent, and the forestry sector for 10 percent that year.
