Public readiness to take a COVID-19 vaccine in Hong Kong 2021-2022
A global survey on attitudes towards coronavirus COVID-19 vaccinations revealed that people from Hong Kong have become more willing to take the newly developed vaccines. As per the survey conducted in May 2022, about 91 percent of the respondents from the financial hub said that they had either received or would take the coronavirus vaccines. In comparison, the same survey conducted in the early 2021 revealed that Hong Kong's public readiness was among the lowest group in the 24 countries or regions covered, and only results from France and Poland had a lower willingness to take the shot compared to Hong Kong.
